B=B

“B = B” is a space halfway between forensic laboratory, microscope, telescope, school or university chalkboard, and a kind of paradise for formulas and equations in which case studies are developed. These investigations are being conducted by four physics students from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona – Zaira Amilburu, Emma Betrán, Adrià Calm and Francesc Puchal –, and are displayed as if in an expanded laboratory notebook, taking us from one piece of information to another, revealing a small and at the same time global scientific analysis of each of the works.

In order to share this space with the public, two activities are planned. On this occasion, the artist Violeta Mayoral and the scientist Nimesh Chahare will participate in an informal conversation with Pep Vidal and Zaira Amilburu to talk about the case studies generated from the works exhibited in the exhibition, and to find out what a scientist like Chahare feels about a scientific poster being exhibited in an art gallery.
