Programme: Tàpies’ Chairs
Tàpies’ Chairs is a cycle of multidisciplinary sound actions, organized within the framework of the Tàpies’ Year at Fundació Antoni Tàpies, with the collaboration of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) of Barcelona.
This is a proposal that focuses attention on the voice and the word to provide sound accompaniment to oral memory. Thus, each of the thirteen sessions will have the presence of a creator who will start from the chair as a performative element to reconnect with the creative universe of the artist from today’s expressive languages and staging.

All actions will take place in the Auditorium of Fundació Antoni Tàpies, except the last one, which will take place in the UPF’s “Sala de Reflexió” (Carrer Ramon Trias Fargas, 25 Barcelona).
