Unexpected confluences. Film cycle

Accompanying the exhibition Bruce Conner. Light out of Darkness are two cinema sessions organised in collaboration with Zumzeig.

The first will screen Duck Soup (1933), directed by Leo McCarey and starring the Marx Brothers.

This is one of the few references that Conner cites as an influence, specifically in the context of his first experimental film A MOVIE (1958).

The second session presents several short films selected by Michelle Silva, representative of the Bruce Conner Family Trust. These include films in which Conner appears as an actor, as well as interviews and a collection of home movies featuring his family.

Presented by the Fundació Antoni Tàpies. Activity in collaboration with Zumzeig.
